    A few changes to the way the sessions are run.


Important information for your appointment:

Things to bring with you for your appointment.

Can I ask you to arrive no earlier than 5 minutes before your appointment.

Face coverings are required unless you are exempt.

Please could you bring your own drink with you.

Please do not attend your appointment if you feel unwell.  Please get in touch and I will arrange another time for you

If a treatment is cancelled or deferred at short notice because my client has COVID-19 or has symptoms of COVID-19, any standard cancellation fees will be waivered.

Hand sanitiser will be available before entering the therapy room and when you leave. 

All routine sessions will be no longer than one hour. This is to reduce contact as much as possible, therefore lowering the transmission risk. 

First time sessions can be up to 90mins, as there will be a consultation before the session.

Please note that while many treatments involve close contact, I will be observing social distancing measures wherever possible. This might include, for example, maintaining an appropriate distance during the consultation process, and when arriving and leaving for an appointment.

Prior to your appointment:

Prior to seeing any of my clients, I will be:

Monitoring my own health and deferring treatments if I have COVID-19 or Omicron or symptoms of COVID-19 or Omicron.

Contacting my clients 24 hours in advance and deferring any treatments if: they have COVID-19 or Omicron or symptoms of COVID-19 or Omicron; are clinically extremely vulnerable and shielding; anyone in their household has COVID-19 or Omicron or symptoms of COVID-19 or Omicron; they have been in close contact with someone who has symptoms of COVID-19 or Omicron in the past 14 days; they have been contacted by the NHS Test and Trace Service and told to self isolate.

Asking my clients to call and cancel and defer treatment on the morning of their appointment if they have a temperature or other symptoms of COVID-19 or Omicron .Please see NHS website for full list of symptoms. 


Intake forms or update forms will be completed via my website so that they are ready for your session .

A Covid 19 disclaimer will need to be completed 24 hours before your appointment via my website ready for you to sign on the day ( I will send you the link ). 


Please Note : If you are classed as vulnerable due to having a condition which is listed on the government website; I will require GP approval before I am able to offer you an appointment.
Measures I have put in place to help protect your health and well being at this time:

I am following guidelines issued by the government, NHS and my professional association, regarding safe and hygienic practice and the use of any personal protective equipment (PPE).

I have carried out a full risk assessment of my therapy business to reduce the risk of spreading Coronavirus (COVID-19) and Omicron. .

I have [completed a certified infection control course and] introduced enhanced cleaning and hygiene procedures to my practice.

I will be closely monitoring my own health, and that of my clients, to ensure neither party is put at risk of contracting COVID-19 or Omicron.

If you have any questions or you would like to discuss your next appointment, please do not hesitate to get in touch. It is very important to me that you feel comfortable resuming your treatments, so please feel free to ask me anything, no matter how small.

I have introduced enhanced cleaning and hygiene measures between clients, which includes washing and disinfecting any non-porous surfaces and therapy equipment, such as chairs and couches and replacing new couch roll. Strict personal hygiene measures will also be adhered to, including regular hand washing/sanitising.
