Vision boards have become a really popular exercise for figuring out exactly what you want in your life. It is a collage of pictures, images, words of what you would like to attract your way. It’s almost as if you were creating a snapshot of yourself a few years down the road. Creating a vision board is easy. Go through magazines or search the internet to find images that represent what you want to attract. Most importantly is that the images speak to you and connect with your desires. Attach the images to a board and place it in a prominent place where you will look at it every day. I would suggest spending a few minutes each day really looking at every part of it.
Simply put, Future journaling is a technique where you basically write out your desires as if they have already manifested, you need to use the present tense as if your dream is already happening. Allow your imagination to run wild, even as you record every minute detail of the life of your dreams, future journaling is not only about writing words on paper, It’s about how you feel while doing it. All the time believing that this life is within your easy reach.
For example, if you want to attract your dream house, you would sit and script along the lines of…
“I’m so happy that I finally have my dream house, its so cosy sat here in my living room with the sun shining through the windows, looking out on my beautiful garden whilst having my breakfast ”.
Go into as much detail as possible, being grateful, being excited will put you in a really positive vibrational state which will make the manifestation more effective.
A gratitude journal is a great visualization tool that can help you to believe in your success and goals while also providing you with a positive mindset, it is where you write down everything you are grateful for, if you are new to this I would suggest starting with three things in your life with which you are grateful for. By starting each day off with gratitude, you get a “hit” of those good feelings first thing in the morning. You are fresh, still waking up and have the precious opportunity to set the tone for the rest of the day with a strong morning routine. Think of it as a hit of caffeine for the soul. This is personally one of my favourite exercises to do. You can always do this each night before you sleep, write down 5-10 things that you were grateful for that day.
Doing this keeps you in a positive mindset and makes you reflect on the good things in your life. By concentrating on creating a happy present experience, you also teach yourself to expect the most from your future. This will help you to visualize your future, in a positive and meaningful way.
You can also look back at what you have been grateful for and take as many useful lessons and positives messages from them as possible. Reflecting on the good things about yourself and your life from your gratitude journal enhances your belief that you can, and deserve to, reach your goals.
The goal of scripting is to create a whole vision of yourself as if you already had manifested your desire.
Visualization is a powerful law of attraction tool. Its about allowing thoughts, ideas, goals, etc. to emerge as mental, inner images in the mind’s eye. Visualization works because the brain cannot determine whether something is really seen, in other words, viewed in the real world, or whether it is just imagined.
Therefore you can “trick” your subconscious mind and show it a self-designed, self-created reality and thereby anchor this “new” reality into your subconscious mind, thus making your dreams become a reality.
To attract the desired outcome, you must visualize until your ideas feel real. Once your visualizations have subconsciously absorbed, your subconscious will do everything it can to live up to that reality. Our thoughts, like everything in our lives, consist of energy. When you send this energy to the universe, you attract similar energetic vibrations. And the great thing is, with visualizations, you can clearly control what you want to send out.
