How Reiki Shifts Our Energy

When I first began my Reiki journey, I thought of it mainly as a beautiful way to bring relaxation and healing. What I didn’t realise at the time was just how much it would transform my life. Reiki has a way of gently shifting not only our energy, but also how we see ourselves, our relationships, and the world around us.

Connecting with Universal Energy

For me, one of the most special parts of Reiki is the connection to Universal Life Force Energy. When I place my hands on myself or someone else, I know that this energy will flow exactly where it’s needed most. It clears, balances, and uplifts — and in doing so, it raises our vibration. I often think of Reiki as a bridge between the everyday human side of life and the deeper, spiritual side of who we are.

Guidance Beyond the Mind

The more I’ve worked with Reiki, the more I’ve noticed that guidance seems to flow more easily. Sometimes it comes as intuition, a gentle inner nudge, or even little synchronicities that point the way. I also believe Reiki opens the door to the loving presence of guides, ancestors, and angels who support us. It’s a reminder that we are never alone, and that we’re always being held by something greater.

Shifts in What Matters Most

With time, Reiki naturally brings changes in priorities. Old habits and goals can fall away, while what really matters starts to come into focus. For some people, that might mean changing direction in life; for others, it might simply mean noticing more beauty in the small everyday moments. Reiki has a way of helping us live in alignment with our true selves, and I’ve found that incredibly freeing.

Healing That Reaches Outwards

I’ve also come to see how personal healing doesn’t stop with us. When we raise our own vibration, it has a ripple effect. The energy touches our loved ones, our environment, and even the wider world. Reiki reminds us that we’re all connected — and that when we heal ourselves, we also help to bring healing to others.

A Journey to Be Grateful For

Reiki is a gift that keeps unfolding. Each time I practise, whether on myself or someone else, I learn something new. It continues to bring blessings and insights in ways I never expected. For me, Reiki isn’t just about energy work — it’s a path of growth, connection, and gratitude.
